One of the few drawbacks about living in Nebraska is the lack of Dunkin’ Donuts (and we could use a few 7-11’s too, but that’s a blog post all its own). Sure, I grew up without them, and had I never moved to New York, I probably never would have known the difference. But I did move to New York, and I did fall in love with Dunkin Donuts coffee and chocolate coconut donuts, and now my life will never be the same.

I will be the first to admit that I am a hopeless addict. I have gone through serious withdrawals since we moved out of a 100-mile radius of the nearest Dunkin Donuts. I think about them. Sometimes, I even dream about them.

The first thing Steven and I did when we arrived in Denver this weekend was to try and find a DD to satisfy our cravings, and we were so excited when one showed up on the map. While everyone was sleeping in this morning, Papa Shawn, Steven and I set out on a mission, but none of us were quite ready for what we found…

Damn you, SteveO’s Pizza ‘n Ribs. Damn you!

Today’s 365 Project entry is dedicated to Dunkin’ Donuts. I love you. I miss you. I wish you would update your Dunkin’ Donuts Online Locator more often so I don’t get my hopes up.
