So, usually I do my sneak peeks for clients on my business blog, but I’m in the process of building and updating my website and, well, I just didn’t have a whole lot of time to come up with anything for today’s 365 Project blog post. I spent part of the day babysitting my nephew Odin, and the rest of it working on the photos from the Engagement Session I shot with my sister and her fiance over the weekend. I already posted a couple photos on my StoriTyme Photos Facebook page, but I wanted to make sure I blogged an official sneak peak before Kassie and Jeremy leave to go on Jeremy’s birthday cruise.

I’m nowhere near finished with the photos from our sessions. I shot hundreds of photos during our two-day, four-session marathon. The best thing about Kassie and Jeremy is that they they both have a great sense of humor and that they were pretty much up for anything during the sessions. Oh, and did I mention, they are a beautiful couple? They were a pleasure to work with, even if it meant getting up at 4:30 in the morning to catch the best light. They bought me iced coffee, and as long as there is coffee involved, I’ll get up anytime you want.

So, here are just a few of the amazing photos we captured during our sessions together. I can’t even say these are my favorites, because there are just far too many fabulous shots to choose from. These were just a few that caught my eye and made me smile, so I thought I’d share them with you.

Enjoy.

This is definitely one of my favorites. Early morning at Freestone Park in Gilbert, AZ.
This one definitely speaks to my natural photography style. I was adjusting my camera settings, and just happened to catch this candid moment. Love it! The Grove, Gilbert, AZ.
This photo looks great in color, but I love the B&W conversion. Freestone Park, Gilbert, AZ.
Again, I was adjusting my camera for the bright lighting and caught the lovebirds in the picture perfect pose. I snapped quick before they even knew it. Scottsdale, AZ.
We were starting to lose our Golden Hour lighting, but I absolutely loved their expressions in this one. Freestone Park, Gilbert, AZ.
I've always loved the old downtown area in Florence, so I was excited when Kassie said she wanted to try this shot. Another one of my favorites. Main Street, Florence, AZ.
Jeremy had some awesome ideas for photos. We never did get one of him tackling Kassie, but the credit for this shot is all his. Definitely one of my favorites! Florence, AZ.

Tonight’s 365 Project entry is dedicated to Kassie and Jeremy. Thank you both for the wonderful weekend!

    1. Thank you Deb! Getting good reviews and feedback from a fellow photographer like you means so much to me! 🙂 And yeah, the gun shot is one of my absolute favorites!

  2. Love the pictures!!!! Can’t wait for the rest. You have done a fanstic job of showing the love between them two.

  3. As usual awesome feed back. awesome pictures. It is so obvious that they love each other. Not just a pose but real feeling in the pics. I don’t like pics that look like yu have to pose and not be yourself and these are great. mare

    1. Thanks Mare! I have always preferred more candid/lifestyle photos myself, and I that it’s so much easier for me to shoot that way. I’m not very good at directing my clients into poses. Haha!
