Elf on the Shelf 2014 – Day 10

I think the best part of being an adult is that you get to carry over certain things from your childhood. You can still love your favorite movies. You still have some of the same friends. And you still get to eat your cereal (and you get to eat it anytime you damn well please because, well…your house, your rules).

So, in between all the time we spent making sure we’re eating enough fiber and trying to increase our vegetable intake, Stevie and I still enjoy indulging in the occasional bowl of our favorite cereals…as long as we share them with Cadence.

Stevie and Cadence have a long list of favorites–Lucky Charms, Fruit Loops. Hell, Cadence will even share a bowl of Fiber One with her Daddy. My go-to favorite has always been Cocoa Puffs (or as Cadence calls them, Cocoa Pops). And we discovered this morning that apparently our mischievous little elf is cuckoo for Cocoa Puffs too. Silly Cosette. She didn’t even bother with a bowl. She just dove right in…
