Written by Impromptu date night after Stevie wrangled a couple extra tickets. Even though the team I was rooting for didn’t end up winning, but it was so much fun to have some drinks and dinner with my hubby, Dad, and Uncle Harry and watch some Husker Basketball.
Best parts of the night:
- Being surprised when our selfie ended up on the big screen during a timeout.
- Seeing two of my students on the big screen when they were scanning the crowd with the dance cam.

Haha that’s awesome! And funnily enough, I actually have a t-shirt with that same image on it (that I’m guessing your hubby is wearing – the fishermen holding the hockey stick?) What exactly does it stand for?? I’m guessing it represents a team lol.
Really? It’s actually a NY Islanders jersey he’s wearing (the hockey team from Long Island). It was one of their alternate jerseys on year and he loved it. People jokingly calling it the Gorton’s Fisherman (after that brand of frozen fish sticks with a similar looking guy on the box).
