Today I felt old because:
Ghostbusters came out 30 years ago.
Thirty freakin’ years, folks. Holy hell, how did that even happen!?
I wasn’t even Cadence’s age when it premiered in the theater, and I vividly remember watching it for the first time shortly after. I’ve probably seen it 100 times since. It will always be one of my favorite movies.
And now, three decades later, there’s a whole new cast hoping to bring the Ghostbusting craze to the next generation.
And of course Cadence is on board. She’s already watched the trailer a dozen times and even decorated the fridge with a new Ghostbusters/inspired piece of art, complete with two Slimers because, well, he’s just that cool.
And now I guess it’s time to officially introduce Miss C to the original Ghostbusters movies. This is going to be fun.
