Autumn Yard Work, Romano-style

Reason #7659 that I love my husband–He can even make yard work fun.

I stuck my head out the back door because I wanted to get a photo of the steam coming off the roof of the garage…

But it wasn’t long before something far more interesting unfolded…

This guy never fails to entertain in front of the camera.

And just in case anyone was wondering where Cadence gets all those goofy faces from…

And of course there has to be some Star Wars inspired lightsaber action…

Now get to work.

Project Life 365 – Day 84 – Cluttered

Meet my husband Steven, the King of Anti-Clutter. Good thing he’s got Cadence and I (whom he lovingly nicknamed Tornado One and Tornado Two) to make sure he keeps a healthy balance of chaos in his life, and keep him from going overboard with his anal retentive ways. 🙂

Project Life 365 – Day 79 – Fresh

So, I know I am probably biased, but I think my husband is a hottie. And he was looking fresh for some headshots today. Yep, I am one lucky girl.

Back off ladies. He’s all mine.

Project Life 365 – Day 45 – Romance

Now this is what I call the perfect Valentine’s Day…

Hot wings, beer, my handsome hubby, and lots of kisses from Cadence. What else could a girl ask for?

It’s a Long Way Down the Holiday Road

So, this blog has been a bit hit and miss lately with everything going on, but I’m hoping to get back in the swing of things very soon.

First, though, it’s time for a much needed vacation. Time to see some friends and family and spend some quality time with the kiddo and the hubby. If I can find time to post, I will. Otherwise, I’ll see you on the flip side.

And, just for fun, here’s an old picture of me doing the family vacation 80’s style.

Oh yeah baby. It doesn’t get much cooler than that! 🙂

Give Us Dirty Laundry

I have to admit, until Steven and I got our new front load washer and dryer, laundry was one of my least favorite household chores. At some point after we married, Steven sort of became the laundry guy. I think it had something to do with the fact that I do a majority of the cooking. Steven taking over the laundry was some sort of trade off. (Or perhaps it had to do with the fact that I will put laundry off until both of us are literally out of underwear and socks). Whatever the reason, I was perfectly happy to sit back and let my husband take the reins.

After getting the new washer and dryer back in December, I’m finding that laundry isn’t nearly as big a chore as it used to be. Now we can wash loads twice as big as we used to. And, even better, our daughter is now at an age where she is suddenly very interested in helping. So today, while Steven was tidying up the office upstairs, I kicked back, relaxed, and took some pictures while Miss Cadence took care of the laundry…

Now, if we could just get her to pick up dog poop in the yard, we’d be set! 🙂
