So, I caved in. I wasn’t going to. I mean, I already have enough on my plate, don’t I? A busy 21-month old, a budding photography business, a few small writing projects, a husband, a dog, and a house to close on and (hopefully) move into. Oh yeah, and then there are the holidays looming in the not so distant future. And doesn’t time always seem to speed to a dizzying frenzy during the holidays anyway?
Call me a masochist, but I just signed up for Nanowrimo – National Novel Writing Month. The goal? To write a novel (or at least get one helluva good start) in the month of November by committing to writing at least 2000 words a day.
Considering I officially committed to the project at 11:30 p.m., I better get my butt in gear and start writing. But, haven’t I always done my best work under pressure?
Tonight’s 365 Project entry is dedicated to all of the other Nanowrimos out there who are churning out the pages. Best of luck on your literary journey!
